Juniors v Whitburn 26 May

The junior team had a convincing 7 - 3 win against Whitburn.  An excellent result and our best so far this season.

Jamie Pringle (4) beat Peter Shaw (6)  2 & 1
Chris Henderson (6) halved with Ian Cameron (6)
Kev Wright (9) lost to Aid Pearson (20)  2 & 1
Daniel Potts (13) beat Jack Cook (24)  7 & 5
Myles Hubbard (14) beat Nathan Atkinson (24) 2 up

The junior team drew 5-5 in their home match against Washington.
Jamie Pringle halved
Anth Payne won 2 up
Kev Wright lost 1 down
Robbie Graham lost 3&2
Daniel Potts won 3 up

 

Well done to all the lads who battled hard in very close matches. Daniel played very well to win, as he had to give away 7 shots. Thanks to Myles Hubbard for supporting as reserve and to Bill Allon who made the match a very special occasion by taking photographs of both teams and presenting all players with professionally mounted and framed photographs at the end of the evening.

Chris won against all the odds and the other matches were closely fought - playing high handicappers and that wind and cold!

Junior Section Meeting

The time of the scheduled meeting for the Junior Section on Wednesday 11 May has been changed from 6 pm to 7 pm because of a clash with a coaching session.
Everyone with an interest in the Junior Section of the Club is welcome to attend.
